The series walks you step by step from the very beginning — before you write JavaScript, installing Node.js and console.log — through variables, data types, operators, template literals and string methods, then on to if/else, switch, loops, functions, arrow functions and callbacks, arrays and array methods, objects, Map and Set, and working with the DOM.

It follows an earlier chapter-by-chapter CSS series on the channel, so beginners can learn the core building blocks of the web in order.
