Apprentice training (day release) Provisional

These sessions take place during working hours, so they count towards the apprentice’s off-the-job training. Apprentices join through their employer and our approved main-provider partner.

  • Each module block is 16 weeks, which is 96 hours of off-the-job training with Fasttrack. The main provider delivers the rest of the programme and plans the total hours with the employer.
  • Bank holidays. If a release day falls on a bank holiday, the session moves online to another working day that week, within working hours.
  • Records. Attendance and off-the-job hours are recorded every session and shared with the main provider each month, through our learning platform, TeachCMS.
  • Catching up. Missed sessions are caught up during working hours, never as unpaid evening work.

  1. Stand-up: what you built at work this week
  2. Teaching: React state and effects
  3. Break
  4. Guided build: fetching API data into components
